    Good example to follow?

Lewisham Borough Council have an interesting concept, each year they elect a young mayor. They have the ability to influence key decision makers from the Council, NHS and the Police as well as making Lewisham a better place for young people to live in. The Young Mayor has a budget of £30,000 to make their ideas happen. We think this is something that other local councils could adopt to give the younger community a real voice and responsibility.
